TRUTH Be Known!

John
5:30 |
|
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my
judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the
Father which hath sent me. |
Luke 19:
1 And
Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 And, behold, there was a
man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see
Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of
stature. 4 And he ran
before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that
way. 5 And when Jesus
came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus,
make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. 6 And he made haste, and
came down, and received him joyfully. 7 And
when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with
a man that is a sinner. 8 And
Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I
give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false
accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9 And
Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he
also is a son of Abraham. 10 For
the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
11 And as they heard
these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and
because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. 12 He said therefore, A
certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and
to return. 13 And he
called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them,
Occupy till I come. 14 But
his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have
this man to reign over us. 15 And
it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then
he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the
money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16 Then came the first,
saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17 And he said unto him,
Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have
thou authority over ten cities. 18 And
the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19 And he said likewise
to him, Be thou also over five cities. 20 And
another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid
up in a napkin: 21 For
I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou
layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. 22 And he saith unto him,
Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest
that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I
did not sow: 23 Wherefore
then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have
required mine own with usury? 24 And
he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him
that hath ten pounds. 25 (And
they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.) 26 For I say unto you,
That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even
that he hath shall be taken away from him. 27 But those mine
enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay
them before me.
28 And when he had thus
spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
29 And it came to pass,
when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount
of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, 30 Saying, Go ye into the
village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt
tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. 31 And if any man ask you,
Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of
him. 32 And they that
were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. 33 And as they were
loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? 34 And they said, The
Lord hath need of him. 35 And
they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they
set Jesus thereon. 36 And
as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. 37 And when he was come
nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of
the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the
mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King
that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees
from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto
them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would
immediately cry out.
41 And when he was come near, he
beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying,
If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which
belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon
thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee
round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And
shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they
shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the
time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple,
and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; 46 Saying unto them, It is
written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the
temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people
sought to destroy him, 48 And
could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to
hear him.
________
Luke:17
1:Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but
that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2 It were better for him
that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than
that he should offend one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves:
If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive
him. 4 And if he
trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again
to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 And the apostles said
unto the Lord, Increase our faith. 6 And
the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto
this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the
sea; and it should obey you.
7 But which of you, having
a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is
come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? 8 And will not rather say
unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till
I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? 9 Doth he thank that
servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. 10 So likewise ye, when
ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable
servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11 And it came to pass,
as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and
Galilee. 12 And as he
entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which
stood afar off: 13 And
they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them,
he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass,
that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And
one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice
glorified God, 16 And
fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering
said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found
that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him,
Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 And when he was
demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered
them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they
say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 And he said unto
the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days
of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you,
See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning, that
lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under
heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25 But first must he suffer many
things, and be rejected of this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of
Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank,
they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered
into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in
the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they
planted, they builded; 29 But
the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from
heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even
thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall
be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take
it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save
his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night
there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall
be left. 35 Two women shall
be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the
field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered and said
unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither
will the eagles be gathered together.

The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner. |
|
|
Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a
precious corner [stone],
a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. |
|
|
And they
shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for
foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD. |
|
|
Jesus
saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become
the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing,
and it is marvellous in our eyes? |
|
|
And have
ye not read this scripture; The stone which the
builders rejected is become the head of the corner:
|
|
|
And he
beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become
the head of the corner? |
|
|
This is
the stone which was set at nought of you
builders, which is become the head of the corner.
|
|
|
And are
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself
being the chief corner [stone];
|
|
|
Wherefore
also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect,
precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. |
|
|
Unto you
therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient,
the stone which the builders disallowed, the same
is made the head of the corner, |

1 And he
looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a
certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth
I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of
their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath
cast in all the living that she had.
5 And as some spake of the
temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things
which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one
stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him,
saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be
when these things shall come to pass? 8 And
he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name,
saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall
hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come
to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto
them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes
shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and
great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these,
they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the
synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my
name's sake. 13 And it
shall turn to you for a testimony. 14 Settle
it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a
mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor
resist. 16 And ye
shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends;
and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated
of all men for my name's sake. 18 But
there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience
possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see
Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which
are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it
depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days
of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that
are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be
great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by
the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and
Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the
Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be
signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth
distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing
them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the
earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they
see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things
begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a
parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot
forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when
ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at
hand. 32 Verily I say
unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall
pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to
yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and
drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall
it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore,
and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things
that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 And in the day time he
was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount
that is called the mount of Olives. 38 And
all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
